Halloween Dog Costume Parade – October 30th
SVC Farmers Market Presents: Halloween Dog Costume Parade
Kick off your Halloween weekend with the most adorable event of the season! The SVC Farmers Market is hosting a FREE Halloween Dog Costume Parade on Thursday, October 30th on Main Street.

Bring your four-legged friend dressed in their best Halloween attire and compete for prizes! Dogs must be in costume to be eligible for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards. Whether your pup is dressed as a hot dog, a superhero, or a fairy princess, all creative costumes are welcome. Just remember to keep all dogs leashed and under control for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

Nothing says Halloween in small-town America quite like a classic trunk-or-treat event! On Friday, October 31st from 5-8 PM, downtown Colfax transforms into a safe, family-friendly trick-or-treating paradise.

Here’s how it works: community members decorate their cars, fill their trunks with treats and games, and park along the downtown area. Families can then safely walk from car to car, collecting candy and enjoying the creative decorations. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate Halloween while building community connections. They invite kids to park their decorated Power Wheels, ride-on toys, and other wheeled vehicles along Main Street to be part of the festivities. It’s a fun way for the youngest members of our community to show off their decorated rides and feel like they’re part of the action. From tiny jeeps to miniature tractors, every decorated wheel is welcome!
