Salsa Showdown Returns to Downtown Colfax

Bring your best batch or your biggest appetite — the Salsa Showdown is coming to North Main Street on Sunday, September 27th from 12-2pm.

Home cooks and salsa enthusiasts are invited to enter their own creation for free, while tasters can sample every entry and vote for their favorite for just $10. Whether you’re competing or just here for the chips, it’s a fun afternoon celebrating one of Colfax’s favorite community traditions.

All proceeds from the event support Colfax’s 3rd of July celebration in 2027, helping keep this beloved community tradition going strong.
