Rollins Lake
Ten minutes off Main Street, Rollins Lake opens up into 900 acres of water and 26 miles of shoreline — room enough for a quiet cove or a full day of waterskiing, depending on what you’re after. Four public campgrounds ring the lake (Greenhorn, Long Ravine, Orchard Springs, Peninsula), each with its own boat ramp, and Orchard Springs Marina rents kayaks and paddleboards if you didn’t bring your own. Bass, trout, catfish, and bluegill keep the anglers coming back — grab bait and tackle at Colfax Farm & Country Store on your way through, then head up.
