Colfax in the Running for a National Music Grant – Your Vote Can Make the Difference
Saturday night, downtown Colfax came alive. Main Street was filled with music, neighbors, and a sense of pride that only a small town can create. Hosted by the Historic Colfax Downtown Association, the Rock the Vote Concert wasn’t just a great night out—it was proof that when Colfax comes together, amazing things happen. The community’s effort is part of the Levitt Grant Colfax initiative.
But now comes the part where we need every single person to step up.
Why This Matters
Colfax is competing for the Levitt AMP Grant, a national program that could bring 7–10 free professional concerts to Colfax every summer for the next three years. That’s not just music—it’s economic development, tourism, and a chance to put Colfax back on the map as a cultural destination with the Levitt Grant Colfax opportunity.
Out of hundreds of cities across the country, Colfax has already made it into the Top 100. That’s a big accomplishment for our little town! As of today, we are sitting at #27 for the AMP Grant and #44 overall. But to secure this grant, we must make it into the Top 50 during the public voting round.
