Something special has taken root on Main Street. Craftfolk Collective is a community craft school at 38 N. Main Street in downtown Colfax — tucked in behind Snapdragon Provisions — and it’s exactly the kind of place our community has been waiting for.

It’s a welcoming space where adults gather to learn hands-on skills, make beautiful things, and connect with neighbors over a shared love of making. Whether you’ve never picked up a pair of knitting needles or you’re a seasoned crafter looking for community, there’s a spot for you here.

What Is Craftfolk Collective?

Craftfolk Collective offers paid workshops for adults across a rotating range of crafts — from fiber arts and painting to mixed media, herbal, and seasonal projects. Classes are designed for all skill levels, with a focus on slowing down, creating with intention, and building real connections through making.

They also host a free weekly Community Craft Club — a casual, drop-in gathering where crafters of all kinds come together to work on their own projects, share skills, and connect. No agenda, no pressure. Just good company and good making.
