Colfax just pulled off something HUGE. The Historic Colfax Downtown Association applied for theΒ Levitt AMP Music Series GrantΒ β and we beat out hundreds of cities nationwide to advance to the final public voting round.
Whatβs on the line? Up to $120,000 in matched funds β enough to bring 7β10 free, professional concerts every summer for the next three years right to our historic downtown.
This isnβt just about music. Itβs about families under the stars, businesses buzzing with new visitors, and Colfax proving that small towns can do BIG things.
Now it all comes down to votes.

The Historic Colfax Downtown Association is proud to announce the full lineup for Rock the Vote Colfax, a free community concert to launch the public voting round for the Levitt AMP Music Series Grant.
π€Tyler Edwards
Beginning his career in 2008 with South Carolina rock band I Anthem (multiple Top 10 Billboard Rock Chart singles, with music featured on MTV and NASCAR), Edwards went on to launch a successful solo career in Seattle before recently relocating to Northern California. Known for his heartfelt style and βinfinitely listenableβ songwriting (Ear to the Ground Music), Edwards has opened for artists such as Ian Noe, Will Hoge, Nicki Bluhm, The Steel Wheels, and Grizfolk. His albums A Few Good Hearts and A Falling Sky earned critical praise, with Paste Magazine calling his sound βunassuming honestyβ.
π Jennifer Belle
A Bay Area native and powerhouse vocalist, Jennifer Belle has quickly risen in the country music scene. She has earned multiple Josie Music Award nominations, a #1 spot on the CMC-USA Music Chart with her single βLet Him Be a Lesson,β and has opened for acts including Parmalee, Easton Corbin, Big & Rich, and Scott Joss (fiddle player for the late Kris Kristofferson). Belle brings an empowering presence to every stage she steps on.
πΆ The Breakovers
Hailing from Nevada County, The Breakovers are a four-piece folk/bluegrass/Americana band known for their memorable originals and well-loved covers. With soaring harmonies and melodic instrumentation, they embody the Sierra sound.
πΈ Michael James Cox
Rooted in Colfax, Michael James Cox is part outlaw country, part Sierra soul, and all heart. His music has been described as βemotional haymakers disguised as melodies,β blending bluegrass, grit, and raw honesty.
